Like all light-based treatments, C-IPL works by emitting multi-spectrum light into the skin. The light is absorbed by the pigments in the hair and quickly converted to heat. The heat then travels along the hair shaft and targets the hair follicles responsible for hair growth, putting them to sleep! With enough treatments, following the recommended treatment plan and settings, visible results can be achieved as early as 3 weeks of use. After 12 treatments, you will see full results.

The device is not painful to use. Some normal sensations described by our users are a rubber band snapping sensation that only occurs in some people (depending on skin sensitivity and pain tolerance) when using a high setting like level 4 or 5. Now, with FYBELLE ICE, the cooling plate acts like an ice pack after each flash. This cancels out the lingering heat sensation of traditional IPL. You can choose from 5 power intensity levels. New users can start with level 1 and gradually increase to level 5 to suit their own comfort.
